We have experience in design, third party check / review and construction engineering roles on design-bid-build and alternative delivery projects.

Planning and Design Services
We specialize in the planning, conceptualization, and detailed design of new and replacement bridges. Our expertise lies in steel and concrete girder, segmental, extradosed, and cable-supported structural systems. We take a holistic approach to planning design, considering multi-disciplinary influences, site constraints, constructability, stakeholder and owner objectives, sustainability, and cost when developing and evaluating solutions.
Seismic Retrofit & Rehabilitation Design
We provide condition assessment, load evaluation, visual inspection, analysis of renewal options, as well as the design of retrofit and rehabilitation strategies for existing bridge structures. Collaborating with owners and stakeholders, we develop the most appropriate renewal strategies to extend the functional life of structures in line with their budget plans. Our aim is to provide solutions that minimize life-cycle costs and ensure safety, functional improvements, and compliance with current seismic standards.
Construction Engineering
We collaborate closely with contractors to develop custom erection plans tailored to their preferred methods. Our work includes detailed construction staging analyses and designing relevant temporary works. Additionally, we offer services such as accelerated bridge construction techniques, design modifications, geometry control, and technical support during construction. Our specialties encompass heavy lifting, jacking, incremental launching, and lateral slides, as well as progressive and balanced cantilevering.
Third-Party Checks
We provide certification for Independent Design Reviews, Category III checking, and EGBC IRSD (Independent Review of Structural Designs). Our collaborative approach involves independently reviewing and checking designs by other consultants to verify that they meet project specifications and adhere to relevant local regulatory standards. We also offer professional Engineer of Record (EOR) authentication for supplier drawings and calculations, ensuring full compliance with project requirements and WCB regulations.
