Spannovation Selected for I-405 Brickyard Bridges Monitoring

Spannovation is proud to announce that we have been selected by Skanska Civil USA to provide comprehensive analysis and assessment services for the construction stage monitoring program on the I-405 Brickyard project. Structures designated as “sensitive” that require monitoring include ten bridge structures and a culvert.

Our scope of work encompasses studying existing documentation and soil conditions, developing structural models, performing structural analyses, determining instrument locations, setting displacement thresholds, and producing detailed monitoring control drawings. Spannovation will collaborate closely with Skanska Civil USA, WSDOT, and other key stakeholders to ensure the integrity and safety of the structures throughout the project.

The I-405/Brickyard to SR 527 Improvement Project aims to enhance four and a half miles of the corridor, primarily in Bothell, from just south of the State Route 522 interchange to the SR 527 interchange. Skanska Civil USA is delivering this project on behalf of WSDOT through an $834M design-build contract. Learn more about the project here.

We are excited to contribute our expertise to this vital infrastructure improvement and look forward to ensuring its successful completion.
